Albuquerque International Balloon Festival

The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is a world-renowned attraction and destination for kids of all ages. For more than four decades, the first week in October brings the smell of roasting chiles and the beautiful, magical moving picture show of hot air balloons sailing silently through the crisp fall air. Besides the balloons, there is a stage located in the center of Main Street that schedules various bands and children’s acts

From a Guest

Garrett's Desert Inn Pool

At the Garrett’s Desert Inn we have many guests comment on how they enjoyed their experience in Santa Fe. Guests would comment about a place they dined, something amazing they had seen, or a way that Santa Fe has impacted them. We enjoy hearing from our guests especially when we hear feedback about their stay with us.

Here is a comment a recent guest said about us on her blog.

“We stayed at Garrett’s Desert Inn, and I would recommend it in a heartbeat. The location is unbeatable: just a few minutes walk from the center of town with plenty of free parking. The wifi is free, the service is friendly and the beds are comfortable: definitely the best budget-friendly option in downtown Santa Fe. Bonus: there’s a pool! Perfect place to cool off after a long day in the Southwestern heat.”
